On Saturday, we went to Alice’s graduation brunch at Prospect Bar in Park Slope. Too bad it was so cold and gloomy! $14 for a brunch entree with one cocktail and coffee/tea. They were nice enough to make me a vegetarian entree with sliced avocado instead of the Canadian bacon or smoked salmon. Tasty, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly with soft, creamy yolks. The home fries were nicely seasoned and had a little kick.
During the second half of the long weekend, the weather finally decided to cooperate. Outdoor lunches, lying in the grass/sand, views of the river and Manhattan! Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend. I’ll be posting our Memorial Day feast soon!
