Giveaway: Sunwarrior Vegan Protein Powders

Sunwarrior Classic Plus Vegan Protein Powders

This post is in collaboration with Sunwarrior.

The kind folks over at Sunwarrior recently sent me a tub of their Classic Plus protein powder. Talk about perfect timing as I had just used up the last of my protein powder and was in the market for a new plant-based protein powder to blend into my post-workout smoothies. Now that spring has arrived and the temperature is warming up, I’m in the mood to resume my (almost) daily smoothie for breakfast routine.

Sunwarrior Classic Plus Vegan Protein Powders

So what’s the deal with Sunwarrior?
Organic. Raw. Vegan. Gluten-free. Soy-free. Dairy free. Sustainable. One scoop of this stuff has 100 calories and 20 grams of plant-based protein. There are many other vegan protein powders out there, but not all of them are quite as impressive as Sunwarrior’s five ingredient formula: whole grain brown rice, quinoa, yellow peas, chia seeds, and amaranth. It tastes great too and mixes smoothly even just into water. I hesitate to use the term “superfood”, but Sunwarrior seems pretty super in my books.

I enjoy using protein powder, but haven’t experimented much with them. I pretty much stick to shakes and smoothies, but really want to start adding new recipes. I’m interested in baking with them.

I use protein powder in so many ways. In the summer, it’s mostly in fruit and veggie smoothies, but in the colder months it’s mixed into oatmeal or yogurt. I also like to mix with nut butter to create a protein peanut butter spread for rice cakes.

I have been trying to find an organic protein powder that fits my dietary needs (gluten free, dairy free, soy free, etc) and this sounds absolutely perfect! I’d LOVE to give it a try. Of course my favorite way is in smoothies but If I won I’d explore a lot more recipes to add it to. Thank you for this great opportunity!
