Last Friday, we celebrated John’s birthday with drinks, ramen, and friends! Started the evening at Revival, with $5 beers and well drinks for happy hour. It might be my favorite bar in NYC! Laid back and divey, but clean. Two levels, including outdoor space in the back. Plenty of space for our group, and we didn’t have to shout to hear each other.
After a few drinks, we walked over to Kambi Ramen. Twice now, Kambi has proven to be a great spot for getting ramen with a large group. I ordered the Vegetable Miso Ramen ($13.50) with thin noodles. Topped with cabbage, fried tofu, bamboo, kikurage mushrooms, corn, and nori. Delicious and velvety miso broth. Sigh, this bowl of ramen made me so full and happy…
