Last month, John and I decided to spend a Saturday strolling through Branch Brook Park in Newark. It’s about a 30 minute drive from our place, and unlike parks in NYC, we pretty much had the entire place to ourselves. The cherry blossom festival is in mid-April, and it was already post-peak season when we visited, but it was still very pink and gorgeous everywhere!
