In August, John and I made a short trip to Worcester for Chang and Hanna’s wedding at the Tower Hill Botanic Gardens. Even after this trip, I’m not sure if I’m pronouncing “Worcester” correctly, but it was a lovely quick weekend getaway. We arrived at the Beechwood Hotel in the early afternoon, which gave us some time to relax and unwind before the evening’s festivities. We enjoyed a late lunch at the hotel’s restaurant Ceres Bistro.
John got the Mediterranean Wrap ($10), which looked like a pretty hefty meatless option. I had the Arugula Salad ($8) with oranges, toasted almonds, goat cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette. For some reason, the only way I like goat cheese is in salads. It goes so well with arugula and oranges. A refreshing and tasty salad. I also got a side of fries ($5), which pretty much cancels out the healthy in my lunch, huh?
