Hedwig and the Angry Inch

Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Michael C Hall

It’s been a while since I’ve done a non-food post, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch deserves a special mention. We don’t go to many shows, but Hedwig was well worth it, especially with Michael C. Hall as the lead. We got tickets just 3 days before the show and scored center orchestra seats just 5 rows from the stage! Despite just having a 6 person cast, there was so much energy on stage. Loved all the music, and even the slower numbers were really intense, energetic performances.

After years of watching Six Feet Under and Dexter, it was fabulous to see MCH in wigs and glitter! Wish I could rock heels like that. We should have braved the cold afterwards to get our playbills signed. Anyway, I thought the finale of Dexter was rather unsatisfying, and I like to think that Dexter went all glam on Broadway instead! Haha!

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!

I would have loved to see Dexter/MCH all glammed up. It’s been ages since I’ve been to a show, but then again, the opportunities are very limited down here unless you’re into Holiday On Ice etc..

Next time you’re in NYC, you should try to catch a show here! Maybe see if you can get lucky with the last minute rush tickets. :)

Did you get them from the booths at Times Square?

We just ordered our tickets online. For the rush tickets, I believe you have to put your name in at those booths on the day of the show. It’s a bit of a hassle unless you’re here on vacation and just hanging out.
