Momofuku Noodle Bar with Kelly and Sung. Over an hour wait for a $15 bowl of ramen. The ramen was above average, but definitely not worth $15. Everything seemed so small, including the beverages. Tasty food, but that wait was awful.
Momofuku ramen – pork belly, pork shoulder, poached egg Chilled spicy noodles – sichuan spiced sausage, spinach, cashews Tamales (John isn’t a huge ramen fan, so he went with one of their specials.) Miso ramen – smoked chicken, swiss chard, soy egg The incredible smoky flavor of the chicken permeated the broth. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Noodles were just what you would expect. The broth was a bit too salty, and the smoky flavor got a little overwhelming toward the end.
