One of the most memorable meals of our DC trip was afternoon tea at Lady Camellia<\/a> in Georgetown. This place is teensy tiny and oh so freaking adorable. So perfect for girly gatherings, bridal showers, and birthday parties.<\/p>\n

Pink wallpaper, golden frames, floral china, and tiered serving platters are my favorite touches at Lady Camellia. It’s quaint, cozy, and looks like pink threw up everywhere. We had a lovely round of tea and savory and sweet treats. Just me, my high school girlfriends, and John, haha.<\/p>\n

Like many cute afternoon tea spots, getting the full tea for two ($43) is the best way to go. This included 2 pots of tea, 3 scones\/croissants, 3 tea sandwiches, and 4 pastries. We left full, but not overly stuffed. The tea selection was decent, but not as extensive as other places I’ve visited.<\/p>\n

For our 2 pots of tea, we went with the strawberry white tea and lavender black tea. Delightful floral fragrances. I enjoyed them both, but the lavender black tea disappeared first.<\/p>\n

We got a mixture of scones and croissants. The croissants and scones were nice, even though I’m normally not much of a scone person.<\/p>\n

For our tea sandwiches, we got a mixture of the cucumber sandwiches and egg salad sandwiches. Both were light and refreshing dainty little treats.<\/p>\n

Last, but not least, the sweets! Up to this point, the food was good, but it was the desserts that got me excited. The salted caramel and raspberry macarons were lovely, and the little chocolate cake was appropriately sized for how rich it was. The passion fruit panna cotta was by far my favorite! Sweet, but tangy. Umm, I could eat three of those!<\/p>\n
