A few days before Christmas, John and I visited Chili’s<\/a> for a “let’s pig out on intense junk food” date night. It has been a busy year, and I think all those calories were well deserved. A half order of the Texas cheese fries was plenty as an appetizer for two. French fries topped with cheese, jalape\u00f1os, and scallions… very addictive. We both got the guacamole burger with a black bean patty, which had some tasty caramelized onions.<\/p>\n

And of course, a trip to Chili’s would not be complete without gigantic cocktails. I had the triple berry margarita, while John went all out with the long island iced tea. There’s food coma, and then there’s super intense junk food coma. I think your body goes into shock from all the calories, salt, and grease.
