\"Botanica<\/a>On a cool summer evening, we visited Botanica<\/a> for drinks with our friend Arvind. I had searched on Yelp for cheap bars in the Nolita\/Soho area, and Botanica was one of the first to pop up. It’s very chill and divey, but not in a gross divey way. In Manhattan, where many places tend to be fancy spancy, finding a low key, casual spot can be really refreshing. We grabbed the table by the window and people watched while sipping on $4 (!!!) beers.<\/p>\n

\"Ginger<\/a>Several people on Yelp had mentioned a cocktail called the Ginger Yum Yum. I knew I had to try it, but I sent John to order it for me. The name is quite silly to say out loud, haha. It was definitely quite a yum yum. I believe it’s a mixture of vodka, ginger beer, and fresh ginger.
