Cassie and I have not seen each other for almost 3 years! That\u2019s the Dragonfly ($13) pictured above. Dragonfruit, pineapple, basil, lemonade, and sake. The service is always excellent, but they went out of their way for us. We sat outside in the garden for a while before migrating inside for our meal as it was too chilly to spend the entire meal outside. They transferred us from one table to another with no fuss.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever I come here, I want to order EVERYTHING! The space is beautiful, and the food looks and tastes beautiful. Cassie and I ordered the Philly roll of avocado, kim chee, creamy cashew cheese ($19) to share. It came with an addictive sweet chili sauce. Oh yum. Always wanted to try this, but John isn\u2019t a sushi guy. Gorgeous presentation and yummy flavors. This was the first time I\u2019ve had a raw food lasagna. Surprisingly rich. Didn\u2019t get a photo of this concoction of lemon, maple syrup, and sake with a dash of cayenne pepper, but it was the best cocktail I\u2019ve had in a long time. The hint of cayenne was perfection.<\/p>\n<p>Cassie ordered the portabella mushroom ($23) with cauliflower and horseradish aioli, kale chimichurri, mango salsa, BBQ sauce, and haricots verts. I had a bite of the portabella mushroom, and it was packed with a rich BBQ flavor. That\u2019s kind of a big deal since NYC has so many restaurants. Love this place so much, and I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll be back.
