We rarely eat out on weekday evenings, but when Ray was in a town last week, we visited Skylark on the Hudson<\/a> for dinner. Skylark a fine diner that is literally a one minute walk from our apartment. I imagine most of its customers are Newport residents.<\/p>\n

I was pretty surprised by the number of vegetarian options available. Last time I checked their menu, there weren’t as many meatless options. I ordered the Curry Falafel Sliders ($8). Three sliders with spinach, roasted red peppers, and mint yogurt on mini brioche buns. Adorable and yummy. Small, but filling.\u00a0 \"Skylark<\/a>Ray ordered the Skylark Burger ($10), their house burger. John ordered the spicy bean burger ($9), which had jalapeno cheese fondue, lettuce, tomato, and onion on a large brioche roll.
