It&#8217;s a gastropub with one of the most amazing beer menus I&#8217;ve come across. The space was masculine and high-end. Think dark wood, leather chairs, metal accents. <a href=\"http:\/\/letsnomnom.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/12\/img_1176.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4002\" src=\"http:\/\/letsnomnom.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/12\/img_1176.jpg?w=584\" alt=\"Public House\" width=\"584\" height=\"436\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wazwu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/img_1176.jpg 2592w, https:\/\/www.wazwu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/img_1176-600x448.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.wazwu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/img_1176-768x574.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.wazwu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/img_1176-2000x1494.jpg 2000w, https:\/\/www.wazwu.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/img_1176-1140x851.jpg 1140w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a>We were seated in one of the private rooms even though we didn&#8217;t request it with the reservation. It was the perfect setting for a reunion dinner. If you browse through the gallery on their site, it&#8217;s the last image before the food photos.<\/p>\n<p>Before we had settled on Public House for dinner, I scoped it out to make sure they had vegetarian options. That said, this is definitely a place for foodie carnivores with a capital &#8220;C&#8221;. Steak tartare, bone marrow, pig tails, chicken liver, tendon chips, blood sausages&#8230; John refers to this place as a house of horrors. This vegetarian eats seafood for special occasions, but not sausages, especially blood sausages. I really hate to be that vegetarian that complains about meat, but even many of the non-vegetarians didn&#8217;t like the thought of those sausages. No rabbit in there, just beer-cheese toast. French fries, duck confit, cheese curds, stout gravy. As if all that isn&#8217;t rich enough as it is, you can also add a fried egg for an extra $2.50.
