Chang suggested <a title=\"Tartine Cafe\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tartinecafenyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Tartine<\/a>, an adorable French bistro in the heart of West Village, that was somehow able to seat our table of 6 immediately. Bonus: this place is true BYOB with no corkage fee!<\/p>\n<p>Wild Mushroom Strudel ($11) with celery root remoulade and porcini vinaigrette. Lovely presentation, very tasty. The celery root remoulade was light and refreshing. Delicious, but very rich dish. No idea how anyone could eat the full size in one sitting.<\/p>\n<p>John also got the potato gnocchi, as well as the french onion soup ($7).
