Last Tuesday, I attended another tasting event hosted by Tabelog. I missed their previous event, which turned out to be a prosciutto party, so it&#8217;s for the best that I missed it. This time, it was a gelato and macaron tasting at Amorino in Chelsea. While we sipped on prosecco, twelve different flavors of gelato were being passed around. I missed a couple flavors, but overall, everything was delicious. My favorites were the salted caramel, chocolate, stracciatella, and strawberry. I wasn&#8217;t able to get many photos as it was hot and the gelato was melting quickly. On top of that, everytime I tried to get a photo, I ended up with gelato all over my phone! Classy, very classy indeed. Later in the evening, there was a blind gelato tasting, and the staff also showed us how to make gelato roses. I only watched as I couldn&#8217;t eat anymore gelato at that point, but next time I&#8217;m at the grocery store, I&#8217;ll have to get some cones to try making my own ice cream roses at home.
