As soon as I heard that The Japan Society had an exhibit called \u201cLife of Cats\u201d, I knew I had to see it. John and I saw the first rotation of the exhibit and will hopefully make it to the second rotation too. The interior lobby space of the Japan Society was really lovely. It was very peaceful and zen to step inside. The exhibit’s prints, paintings, and sculptures are divided into five categories: Cats and People, Cats as People, Cats versus People, Cats Transformed, and Cats and Play. The ukiyo-e woodblock prints from the Edo Period (1615-1867) were the most interesting and entertaining. They depicted so many cat behaviors that I am very familiar with! =^.^= Save Save"}
