I recently discovered these photos on my iPhone from when we had brunch at Picante for John’s birthday back in September. One of the first restaurants we’ve visited in our neighborhood. We had a $40 restaurant.com coupon, so we had to order A LOT of food. 3 entrees and 2 drinks. Plenty of leftovers! The inside of this restaurant was pretty awful. Dark, dingy, kind of disgusting. I ordered the chicken chalupas: home made thick corn tortilla with chicken, red sauce, onions, monterrey cheese, and avocado. Wow. We also ordered chicken quesadillas to share. Ahh, so much guacamole! I love it. Not the most amazing Mexican food I’ve ever had, considering that we did go to Cancun for our honeymoon and filled our bellies with yummy goodness. (Hmm, maybe I should dig up honeymoon […]"}
