Sigh, that’s still a nice change from the frigid weather we experienced earlier in week. We headed to Williamsburg for Will’s birthday brunch at Supercore. Hello Brooklyn, I haven’t seen you in a while!Someone mentioned that Supercore was well established before Williamsburg became the trendy neighborhood that it is today. Loved the overall vibe. There was a sprig of rosemary attached to a vent, and it filled the dining area with a lovely smell. The $20 brunch special with unlimited drinks was pretty awesome. You can choose from sake bloody marys, sake mimosas, and beer with ginger and honey. The bloody marys are served in mason jars and garnished with lemon, lime, celery, and olives. I ordered the Classic American Plate with poached eggs. The spinach and potatoes were delicious. Beautifully seasoned. We all know my love affair with poached eggs… John’s French Toast with fresh fruit looked fantastic. I did not expect the French toast to be stacked up the way it was. The smell was wonderful. They also had a spinach and goat cheese omelets and a Japanese vegetable curry, but Supercore’s specialty is the bento box. […]
