We crashed at Cathy&#x2019;s place in Logan Square on Friday night. On Saturday, we had breakfast at Taqueria Moran just around the corner. A little Mexican restaurant that reminded me very much of Frausto&#x2019;s in Berkeley. Chips! Salsa! Pickled veggies! Huge entrees! Despite the gloomy weather, we were feeling quite cheerful, thanks to breakfast. Cathy ordered the Huevos con Chorizo ($4.95). John got the Moran Omelette ($6.50), which has avocado, white cheese, bell peppers, tomatoes and onions. For whatever reason, it has never occurred to me to put avocado in an omelette. I always keep the avocado on the side. I&#x2019;ll have to try that sometime. I almost ordered the Huevos Rancheros, then I remembered that we make that all the time at home. Time to indulge&#x2026; with a chicken burrito ($4.95) for breakfast! Cathy highly recommended the lengua (tongue) burrito, but I thought I&#x2019;d stick to a more familiar meat, lol.
