Reimagine a Cleaner World 23" x 35" poster for Whole Foods
The Whole Foods Earth Day project involved using recycled materials to create masks that later inspired a poster addressing environmental concerns. As part of my design exploration, I conducted intensive color studies with abstractions of the masks and documented the masks in real and color environments. For my poster, I focused on the issues of excessive garbage and the important of recycling.
The poster and masks were displayed as part of the Earth Day celebrations at Whole Foods in Shadyside, at the Pittsburgh Zoo, and as part of an exhibit in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Color studies and environmental explorations.

The recycled masks are placed against a dirty landfill, while the text is placed against a blue sky with seagulls. I researched recycling, garbage, and energy statistics to develop the message of the poster: " Reimagine a Cleaner World. Recycling a single bottle can conserve enough energy to light a 60 watt lightbulb for 6 hours. Reuse. Remake. Rethink the possibilities. It’s not beyond your imagation. "
