Vega Project notebooks    handmade recycled notebooks

During my internship at the Vega Project, I put my bookbinding skills to good use and transformed letter sized scrap paper into recycled notebooks. I made a total of 25 Vega Project notebooks by hand. The notebooks were used as promotional materials for the studio.

I used paper of different colors and textures for the pages and lightweight corrugated cardboard for the covers. All interior pages have torn edges to give the notebook a rougher, handmade touch. Some pages contain hidden messages about design. The first spread of the notebook has the Vega Project logo stamp and a small pocket for storing business cards. The notebook is bound with small screws.
