media, filter, content seven 18" by 24" posters, gallery installation
Using the 2008 election as the main topic of our exhibit, we each created a series of graphics using a layering of blue, green, and red elements. When viewed under different color filters, different messages appear on each poster. Our gallery exhibit included a timeline of American elections, portraits, statistics, charts, and political slogans.

Posters and 3d glasses (to be used as color filters) were hung from the ceiling.

Two of the seven posters I designed for the exhibit.
I researched voting statistics and used the information I had gathered for my posters. I experimented with the juxtapostion of typography and image, using either photography or a network of lines as the imagery. My contributions to the exhibit include seven 18” by 24” posters and assistance with the installation.
